Emesis Bags

Vomex Bags come in Packs of 1, 10, 250. The traditional emesis bag market offers many variations into which one can vomit but none truly ‘self-deploy’ like the Vomex emesis bag or are as safe, sanitary or easy use and then dispose. VOMEX offers a product that makes a distasteful event easier to address.

With VOMEX you just POP, USE and DISPOSE!

An emesis bag, also known as a vomit bag or sick bag, is a small bag with a sealable opening that is used to collect and contain vomit or other bodily fluids. Emesis bags are typically made of plastic or paper and are often provided on airplanes and buses and in hospitals and different medical settings. Emesis bags are often used to help prevent messes and odors in situations where vomiting may occur. They can be beneficial for individuals who are prone to motion sicknesses, such as during air or car travel. In medical settings, emesis bags may be used to collect vomit for testing or to prevent contamination of the environment.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1. Pull the VOMEX emesis bag from the paper sleeve.

2. Allow for self-deployment.

3. Place ribbon straps over patient's head; allow bag to hang from the neck.

4. If patient is able, instruct them to lean forward. If unable, hold the bag upright for the patient.

5. When patient is finished, tie straps tightly under the rim and dispose.
